i bought jeans [14 Dec 2009|05:58pm] pyrrhicvictory I bought 3 pairs of jeans yesterday out of absolute necessity. It got to the point where I only had one pair of jeans that looked acceptable, and they are horribly uncomfortable. Before that, I only had two, but the other one now has a hole in the ass that is getting larger. Anyway, I hate jeans shopping. Scott and I went to Plato's Closet (we are cheap) and I plowed through jeans like crazy, no bullshit, just trying shit on until something good happened. I was only hoping for one pair, so this is a massive success. I discovered that Forever 21 skinny jeans fit me great, probably because I have the body of a 14 year old. So I'm going to wear these jeans until the asses fall out 4 years from now. Maybe by then I'll have money to buy clothes that aren't used. Ha ha. I also bought one of those really wide belts that go around your middle to make you look really hourglassy. Not yet sure how to wear it without looking like a retard, but it was $3 so whatever. So, what else? Scott and I have been cooking lots of food. Yesterday we made burgers with bacon and smoked gouda cheese, and sweet potato fries. Tonight will be lemon pepper chicken with zucchini cakes. I am still unemployed, still don't give a fuck. Fuck the real world. Fuck it so hard. My parents are coming here for Christmas. Not sure how I wrangled that, but I really did not feel like bringing 2 cats all the way home. I think telling my mom that I have a nature trail with lots of deer here helped to convince them. deer!? [10 Dec 2009|01:34pm] pyrrhicvictory There is a nature trail within short walking distance from my apartment with fuckin deers everywhere. This isn't the same as the nature preserve that is visible from my patio. I had no idea about any of this stuff when I signed a lease here. Anyway, Scott and I wandered the trail this weekend. There is a pretty creek with water that is totally translucent... amazing, but you can't even tell how awesome it is here. Trust me on this one. We didn't get any pictures of deer, because well, they're DEERS. Pretty much every time we saw a group of them they were running away from us. But it was pretty crazy. I can't believe I can walk down the street and find tons of deer. We have a standing date to go relax in the woods until some deer get close enough for pictures. Anyway, enough about deer. I got new plugs! I wasn't planning on getting anything new for a while, but I won a $50 gift cert recently. :D ( MORE HOT EAR PIX ) 2 comments|post comment
